any "beta" testing done with this?..any results
from field guys in advance of the release?

They're some field testers on FB getting them tomorrow going to start posting results.

The field testers,magazines and any other media reviewer/testers will 'never' ever give a bad review,it just never happens.

They will usually all say the basic safe review its a very capable machine etc etc,its not only just this new Garrett but its the same with any new machine launch.

The folks who are doing the testing are selected very carefully for that reason.

They already have a FB Apex group for those on FB. That is where the field testers will be posting.

It's going to be £520/$635 with headphones in the UK, at that price i think I'll give it a miss.

You think they would be field tested before without a way to patch it from your computer.

That makes sense......Obviously the Apex (Pro) will soon follow with more Features and full Waterproof at about the Nox 800 Price point.

Yes anyone who does not think they have a submersible one in the works is fooling therself.
