What does the designer of the AQ think of it?

For gold it will be more efficient than GPX

For the silver the GPX should be more efficient than IMPULSE AQ

The innovation is above all that the IMPULSE AQ can detect the whole range of gold jewelry without losing much depth in MASKING IRON MODE (TONE / MUTE / VOLCANIC)
If we had wanted to make a coinshooter with a PI, we would have had to digitize the detector and I would have spent a lot more development time. But I wanted to devote my research time to this 7 best points for improve metal detectors only for gold jewels :

#1. Best sensitivity to Gold targets
#2. Highly reactive system
#3. Rock-solid stability
#4. Ground effect compensation (magnetic soil)
#5. High recovery Speed
#6. Iron discrimination
#7. Mitigation of all EMI

In a future version I will certainly digitize the detector to make it a pseudo beach coinshooter... But not for now.

I prefer follow my research on the new fundamental technologies.

How about an Impusle for the wet sand that can switch modes between gold and silver?

Doesn’t work that way - high conductors and ferrous targets are all on the “high” side in discriminate and give a low tone.

In fact, even in all metal, a tiny gold ring is detectable way deeper than a US silver dollar - I tried it.

Sorry, you will just have to find gold.

Rick, thanks for putting it so simply. I understand it better now.

Definitely a niche detector. I like that. Only hardcore detectorists will be using this machine.

You mean only 100 hardcore detectorist will be using it....

Lol. Correction, I meant the final mass-produced model.

Most of us will never see a Limited in the wild.

I will believe there will be a mass production model when I see a 1000 in the store...lol

At this point it’s kind of hard still to confirm just how well and durable the machine is. They seem to be trickling out and like the ML Nox it’s got to get into more that a couple of users Thats posting. This could drag out and by then the more refined machine may be out.

For finding serious gold at the beach - my guess is NO CHANCE. Nobody else has thought it worth their while to work on it.
