I have to run the ground balance positive instead of dead on as it try's to read fresh hole if I dont.

First its at 5 inches then move it to 4 inches.

Using the 8 Octagon coil.

Good vid Keith, them cut quarters are a tough target, i don't find them any deeper than that myself, there easily missed on busy ground.

Hey Ghound what type mineral do yall have in the U.K. on the F.e scale?

By that I mean is most places as a whole pretty low or medium or high.

Keith, I can't talk for those in England, I'm in Northern Ireland and it can vary greatly.
My front field will fill the mineral scale on a Deus, some other areas will only register a couple of bars.
The bigger issue is animal slurry, it's full of salt and minerals from concentrated winter feeds, then they pump it out over the pastures, it kills some detectors performance.
