Nice toy. Had a 70 Evinrude just like it on my 1980 16' bow rider. Carry a spare spark plugs as they are prone to foul. Balance the tanks on both sides. Surprised since your diving under 30ft you haven't got the new tank system that is out for shallow diving. Tank half the size and last as long as you can stay in the cold water. Lots of islands in Georgetown/Charleston area that had lots of action and my friends that go there by boat (only way to get to them) have found lots of highly prized artifacts along with a few slave tags. They have been on me to take them on my boat but I draw 12 inches and waters are too shallow for me. Your boat is right to beach and detect the shore line. With tanks and 2 people that may change. No need to dive at the spots. Good luck. JR

Better make sure water level is high enough for pump to ingest into motor. Never run hard when not in the lake, etc.

Now, what is your boats name??

Got to name it.

PS
You may wait until after your first voyage to name your boat.
If your boat sinks on the first voyage you could call it the USS B _ _ _ N.

If your boat don’t sink you could call it the USS T _ _ _ P.
Just having some fun....

Something about having your own boat. Doc made a good point about straight gas. If you look on the net you can find locations of stations that sell it.

TNS, good one. Yea, name that boat. You're getting up there in years calabash, how about "The C.D. Relic". That fits!
