Etrac prices

Now that Minelab has stopped production on the Etrac---has used Etrac prices gone up---stayed about the same---or gone down?

Seen some going Higher!

My guess is the Etrac prices will go up or stay the same for a while because it's a all of famer. After a year or two it will go down in price just like the CZ's went. Nobody wants them much because of the new and better tech. . . .unless you are an antique collector. lol

I wonder how long that parts will last to repair them as screens and faceplate buttons do go bad from time to time.
That was what was happening with the Explorers when they discontinued them.

Demand determines prices. New detectors released decrease demand for older models. As mentioned above....parts will be an issue. Those prices will go up.

Once Minelab announces the Etrac/CTX3030 replacement, the prices should fall even further...

Thought they already did that and produced it too boot. . .the Equinox. Is it not the replacement for all detectors? lol

Actually, Minelab stated that the Equinox "Obsoletes all single-frequency VLF detectors.". Still waiting for the Etrac/CTX3030 replacement...
