THANKS calabash! That removes more variables........ and makes the testing more obvious.
I REALLY appreciate you going BACK to the beach....... for further clarification!

Big coil on the Excal--probably turned up too high --worst mistake you can make. NOX FE way down--also not optimal for salt conditions--as shown in what hapens when the wave comes in--a skewed test overall. More of a signal balancing demo than anything...

Skewed test?.
Don't think so.
What you afraid all those books you have (non deus 2) on water detectors will now rot on your shelves?

I have been following closely.
Fact.
An operator of Eqx can't run beach 1 and beach 2 at the same time.
So I notice deus 2 in beach sensitive as one is sweeping along shore wet salt and detecting, if waves sweeps in deus 2 still detects targets. EQX though same target swept signal much more compromised.
I have seen 2 instances of this in at least 2 different videos.

So from a shoreline wet salt sand detector, seems deus 2 more versatile running in one mode vs EQX.

You have a nice day.

I am still waiting for a video showing excal, deeper on gold ring wet sand vs Deus 2.
I may waiting a long time too.

Also of special note.
Some folks may think oh Calabsh is running Deus 2 hot intentionally to make it look better.
So, go take a look a default settings XP put in Deus 2 salt water/ beach programs. All seem to be very high. Why?
Why would a detector manufacturer load such high default sensitivity settings in these programs?
I mean a user would turn on and could immediately say this default setting way too high is garbage.
So could Deus 2 be actually run with good performance at these (higher ) default settings? Maybe XP determined through testing = yes.
Btw, notice Equinox default sensitivity settings .
Not near as high percentage wise was Deus 2 p, correct?
Why?
Could it be Minelab decided default 20 sensitivity was useable at most beach venues.
