[fb.watch]

For those who do not have FB,
We are giving an update for the Legend which will be posted on our website soon.

The update version is 1.05 and this update includes features and/or improvements which are not included in the user manual or differ from the explanations in the manual.

Updates Made :
1. Pinpoint function has been improved.
2. M 1 Multi Frequency parameters have been updated.
3. Audio alert for Automatic Frequency Shift (Noise Cancellation) completion has been extended.
4. Factory default Tone Break value has been changed from 11 to 10 in Park mode.
5. Ferrous Off Discrimination Pattern has been updated to reject IDs between 1-10 in Park & Field modes.
6. Threshold audio level has been increased in Gold mode.
7. Audio response during ground balancing in Gold mode has been updated.
8. Backlight levels have been re-configured.
9. Bugs have been fixed.

The second update will come in the upcoming weeks including an iron bias setting as well as beach advancements and any other suggestions we get from the actual users that we can implement.

THANK YOU!

How about normalizing the ID's across all frequency ranges? Ratcheting pinpoint? Have an option for both a factory reset and the ability to reset individual user profiles. Volume seems to go from real low to almost too loud and not much in between. Make a way to adjust the pinpoint volume. The VDI gap between our zinc pennies and copper pennies is too small.

Hello! Can you expand on ''Ratcheting pinpoint?'' Thank you!

Some minelabs and the whites V3i have this feature. Here is how they describe it.

Whites - Ratchet PP automatically detunes the coil with every sweep of the target to give the user a more precise pinpoint

Minelab - The first sweeps over a target will give a wide response. Subsequent passes will set the ‘baseline’ (strength of audio output) of the audio response to a new level, just below the maximum signal

When in the pinpoint mode it detunes the coil to make the target area smaller with every sweep.

NM, Please re consider how the V1.04 volume levels are scaled. Overall volume, tone volume and Threshold volume all seem to go from too little to too much with no moderate level. The Threshold volume especially. No tone @9 then too loud @11. All volume adjustments need a more gradual/linier range.
I understand improvements were made to Goldfield with the V1.05 update. Park, Field & Beach need attention as well.

Also please consider adding a VCO option that can be applied to any Tone selection. This has been a very useful feature on the Anfibio Multi. It would be nice to have it available in 2,4,6 & 60 tone.

Still would like to have a Mineralization read out to aid in ground evaluations.

Thank you

Chris

Hi Dilek.
What is being asked about goes by different names.
See this video. Go to 3 minute 56 sec Mark.
XP calls it auto tune.

Didnt know the Deus II had the auto tune feature. That is awesome.
Re: LEGEND UPDATE

Auto-Tune is a NON-motion, all-metal Mode. . . . . . that can be engineered to automatically reduce a target signal-strength DOWN to a predetermined minimum strength. , . , . , . , . , . which......... in turn........... can reduce the size of the footprint of a target........which would make it narrower/easier to pinpoint.

Do you think that would be hard to program into the Legend Tom?
Re: LEGEND UPDATE
March 31, 2022 02:13AM
It sounds like it already IS a feature of the Deus-2 (if I'm understanding your question correctly).

Re: LEGEND UPDATE

Yes it is a feature of the deus II but was wondering if you thought it would be hard to program into the Legend.

It would be nice to have the backlight come on when the configuration/power button was pressed and then go back to the original setting when pressed again. I have the back light turned off on mine to save battery life and went to make some adjustments inside a not very well lit room and had a heck of a time navigating to the backlight setting to turn it on so I could see the menu choices.....;o)

Bill. Gotcha! Understand now.
It would be "medium/medium-low" engineering effort to incorporate into the Legend.
