Tom made do it, complete test foil & gold

This is an air test on small foil and gold.
All mode settings, sensitivity 22, 2 tone, tone break 0, iron bias f2 0, recovery 4. All hits id 1.

Park 1 foil, horse shoe on/off....... no hit

gold, horse shoe off.......... no hit
horse shoe on........... 3"

So Park 1 would be best for jewelry hunting on land.

That piece of foil should always ID as '1'.
Here's the problem:
In some of the Modes....... '1' is (default) notched out. . . . . . . so you will never detect the foil.
And in other Modes..... '1' ID's as an iron tone....... because the tone-break is set above '1'. (((This was created..... due to European hot-rock/coke type hunting conditions))).

When I ran my Deus, Actually still have the original model and preferred Prospecting Gold mode in areas with black sand such as rivers and lakes.

Now in a Park, Park settings were not so agressive, even back then the original Deus was a killer on tiny low conductive.

Haven't sprung for a Deus 2 but most likely will in the distance future, even if it's for an occasional hunt 2-3 times a year.

Would it be possible to post a photo of the foil and gold you used, along with a coin for size reference? Might like to try something similar with my V-540...
