Deus 2 update 1.0 your thoughts and setting tips

Hi. After a long break and moving back to Europe I was wondering how you guys are getting along, what settings and programs you are using.

I have noticed lots of iron falsing especially on deep iron and a significant loss of depth. The features are neat but essentially just filters, maybe resulting in the loss of depth? Basically all programs but general have a bad visual target id not matching the general program. These are my observations.

That doesn't sound good.----Another person also reported digging quite a bit of iron/nails with this new update.

Used the update for the first time yesterday and my d2 seemed to work great. Depth seemed about the same and I didn’t have issues with iron falsing. I think a lot of people chase down signals that are broken sounding hoping for a commingled target. I usually use the machine’s pinpoint to verify the target is where I expect it should be. The d2 seems to false on iron when it’s under the edge of the coil. Not scientific, just my experience. You can always download the previous version if you don’t like the update.

Try it on an iron infested roman site, you will see what i mean then. 1.1 just goes back to 7.1 filtering except for 1 program.
