Will got 1.38 clad, 7 wheats, and a 1861-0 half in AU condition. Have a photo of it but don't know how to put it on this forum.

VERY nice. Nice post-Christmas finds. That can be some high-dollar stuff.

Tom It's John S. not Bill in Montana.We are having a nice blizzard as I type.The frost is lifting those coins closer to the surface for next spring.

> some high-dollar stuff. Thanks Tom. This 1861 will make me the 160 seated halfs I have found in the 15yrs I have been hunting. This 1861-0 has no errors in it ( to bad) the value is about $350. The best two I have found a few yrs a go was a 1855-s & 1871-cc and they were in XF & AU , they are the high dollar ones.

Impressive numbers. I have never found a Seated Half. Living in Florida, the soil conditions allow them to sink too deep. I surmise they are around the 17" depth mark.
