i think that black in general does it for me ,i don't want to attract too much attention with garish colors like the certain machine in bright green.i prefer to keep it low key .

Black and florescent green looks pretty sharp to me. I'm not worried about the detector attracting attention. I get that from the chicks all the time anyway...have to carry a huge shovel to beat them away some times.

Color dosent matter to much to me, although where we hunt I have seen the yellow ones attract bees.

camo is my preference...though black works fine for me...I'm not that particular.

I wouldn't buy a black car as they always look dirty but as I keep my units cleaned and pristine black works for me even though don't have one in the arsenal as I post...

Yep wash my car infrequently but clean my detector after every use and usually wrap securely in a blanket when traveling to and fro....

No a clean unit won't find more than a dirty one but just hate to see fellas hunting with filthy ones...

Prefer black or green like the older T-2. Anything but that awful yellow Garrett uses. I bet they would sell more of the Ace detectors if they were black like the AT Pro.

tmanly -- That's what the CTX looks like to me with the carbon fiber shaft....snake skin.

If it was florescent pink, there wouldn't be any worry with losing it in the woods lol.

Metallic candy apple red....with a tiny bit of yellow accents.
