de verses je sounds

The tone sounds of de are very different from the je sounds. What I mean, in de mode the tones are more clear, concise, smoother sounding if you will. The je sounds more jittery, shaky or ratty sounding. Is this normal on other F75 machines. It could just be the extra sensitivity of the je mode causing this difference.

Absolutely normal. The detector is in a hyper-sensitive mode when JE mode is invoked. And only hyper-sensitive to very small low-conductive items. Same depth on dime-sized targets.

Thanks Tom, so running in je mode has only one advantage over the de mode, and that is to find the small low conductors in an area, correct?

Replace the word 'small' with 'tiny'. ((( I know this is a vague term ))).
