VERY well done Mark. The most interesting part (from a Design Engineer's point) is that fact that.......at one point..... the salt water 'splashed' on/over the coil......and the detector remained stable. MOST detectors will not act this way. I must also say that your sand & salt content must be a bit different....although I G.B. on the lowest notch on '0' ...on my beaches. I use the Holy Grail of detectors.....and it's a PI.....and it STILL has some difficulty here in Fla.
