Keith, you've probably mentioned this, when do you use a notch feature on a iron detector. I never use it myself.

Thanks

Hmmmmm

$800??

I wonder what the new G2 (G2 pro? G3?) is going to cost!

Aaron I would never use the notch feature on a machine when working though iron debris...

Michigan theres no telling what it will cost...

What Im wondering is if the F19 does have a true all metal mode if they will keep building the Goldbug Pro...

I think that name has been a hindernace to them from the begining...

but for 100.00 dollars more you can get a machine that is the same and also offers more for the coin relic hunter's to use it makes you wonder if they will drop the Goldbug pro...

seems they want all there machine's to be the F series....

I have heard that the prospectors still gpo to the GB2 still and the relic hunters have not really caught on to the GB PRO .. maybe this revamp will open up a new arena..

but this is what makes a great site machine....For working through the habitation sites of centuries past

High freq
fast target response
variable tone break
Tight Elliptical DD's
Bleedy filtering of rejected target's
intelligent audio
ability to hear rejected targets so audio gate remains open
good audio spread from low tone to high tone for differentiation

also to add a true all metal mode for certian needs.. like pit digging and total iron removal,,,homestead rock removal...etc..

Agreed on all points Keith

and the new F19 seems to be a near perfect "old site" machine

I just hope the new G2 (or whatever they name it) will have everything the F19 has

PLUS

1: a BP (or something to give it that extra bit of punch) so it gets a little better depth

and

2: Multi Freq. (8, 19 and 25 would be good) all working together simultaneously with the option to switch to just one (users choice)!

If they gave us those 2 additions - I'd be sold and standing in line for the 1st one off the press ;-)

Even without the multi freq. I'll still pick one up but that would be sweet if they added that on top of a BP!

At that point (if it came with all of the above) IMO it'd be the ultimate old site machine and XP would have a run for their $$ and I'd most likely sell my Deus to replace it with the above :-)

This machine seems priced right, and will no doubt be a great relic machine. The Gold Bug/G2 already is a sweet machine. If the russian sites info is correct then Im very interested in the slow mode for deep targets. Sounds similar to F70 or Vista Gold. I wonder if the AMM will use number ID instead of the dial meter thats hard to see. 40 hours on 4 aa batteries like the F70/75 would be great too. Looking forward to this machines release.

Yeah Im not sure on the AA battery thing or the fast or slow mode..

but it would be a welcome addition to have those things added to the platfrom..

Im starting to get somewhat excited about the F19...

What is the advantage of FT introducing new machines in Europe first? Bigger market?

Thanks Keith. The link was sent to me right after i posted.
I gave them a call and as i thought they wont have any instock until mid june. Ask about the listed price and was told that the price shown is it.
As sugested by the person that sent me the link will most likely beat the price when they hit the market.Time will tell.
