Im looking for a FZ-12 Sunray Coil for my CZ-3D 1021 model. Any info or help finding one to purchase would be helpful. Thank You

300-400 is the going price if and when they are up for sale! i seem to remember tom not being impressed at all with the fz-12 he had?

yeah! i believe he mentioned he thought the 10" stock coil
was as deep as the 12

I guess coils differ along with mineralization....In my neck of the woods the Sun-ray was several inches deeper than the stock CZ large coil with added coverage and wasn't any heavier. I had one for saltwater shores for coverage but when I was unable to hunt these shores anymore I sold mine for about 100 bucks so in essence gave it away. Certainly not for everyday hunting but beaches and large fields certainly a plus.
Certainly one of my mistakes but not as bad as giving away my gold finds to friends and relatives as would have made a killing when the price of gold skyrocketed....

My FZ-12 is 1" to 1.5" deeper than my 10.5" stock coil in every test I have done. Tom tuned 1021 CZ-3D. It seems to hit coins on edge really nicely and is 1oz lighter than the Fisher 10.5" coil.

that was good and kind,and stood out from the crowd!
