Why not consider the fisher cz3d as it is deep and easy to use..works great in salt to and its just plain bad to the bone.

Already own one and won't sell it smiling smiley

Something fully customisable would be nice though.

A detector with customisation and ability to save those settings.

So if i decide to do a night raid in an area frequented by hundreds
Looking for $1 and $2 coins i can.

Any other suggestions welcome.

I don't think you will find a detector made today that is more customizable than the V3i. I haven't owned a V3i, but have owned two VX3s and loved them. Same platform, but the V3i allows for more versatility in tone assignment, offers a boost mode, and polar plot, to name just a couple extras. You already have a depth monster with the cz, but I would reccomend you get it calibrated by Tom, and pick up the Spectra. You will have a couple of great tools for the hobby....

Yep mine is calibrated by Tom at 11.9".

Owned another that was calibrated by Tom at 12" which
Was signed on the case by Tom. Had a forum member
That wanted to buy 1 and sold it to him.

Won't sell the cz3d. The price you can buy these at is a bargain.

You asked about the Deus....I have owned a V3i and an Etrac and I hated the complexity of the V3i and loved the "coin hog" capability of the Etrac, however the Etrac was susceptible to locking up in heavy iron and so I purchased a Deus. I carried the Deus and the Etrac around for quite some time and then stopped carrying the Etrac, it has now been in the closet for a year and I don't miss it. The new 11" coil took a great machine to a new level and I am extremely happy with the Deus. Fast, easy to configure, multiple freqs, ultra light.....

You might want to consider an E-Trac, and save yourself a little cash. I have used a V3/V3i extensively, and currently use an E-Trac as well as the V3/V3i. My buddy uses a 3030, and I have yet to see the 3030 find a coin that my E-Trac did not see as well. Silver actually sounds better with the E-Trac. All great machines however. You can't go wrong.

Purchase has been made on a 30 min demo v3i like

Saved a bit of cash and waiting for it to arrive.

Thanks Corey.

I can't wait for it to arrive. Its going to be awesome i think especially
For our coins that fall in the aluminium screw caps range. Have already
Researched some nice detecting areas that were once full of life.

Just hope no one has been there yet detecting the area. Need to
get there and see if its on public land.

Will spend a few hours familiarising and testing the machine.

Will copy and edit the coin program to suit our coins and will
See what happens.

Looking forward to the v3i to educate me the real difference
When detecting in different frequencies.

Thanks Again..
