Thanks for the videos Keith! Been running a G2 and it does good, but the tin in my sites really causes me a lot of headaches! You say the Omega does better on tin and aluminum because of the lower frequency?

Yes Mark..

especially if you use the concentric coil in the Tin sites...

Tin is very excitable on a high freq...the Low freq hits it too but its not as excitable so it has signatures in the tonal quality it gives off...The concentric helps alot too...

Thats why the G2 and Omega compliment each other very very well..They bith use most of the same coils and also they help works sites more sleuthy..

Ive used the V3i...

And it does quite well...once its dialed in...

The 4x6 DD does the best on the deck test..

I may have a video of it somewhere..not sure I uploaded it or not..

I kave a few videos Ive done that I have yet to post..they need to be cut down and it takes too long..LOL!!

Your Surf Master II VLF that I have hits that nickel all the way around with nail disc'ed. I can't believe how well that detector works in iron. What adjustments did you do to it. It hits my test dime at 7 1/2".
