4" coil from F2

Hi All, Will a 4" coil from a Fisher F2 work on the G2 ? I can buy a F2 with 4" and 8" coil cheapper than i can buy a 5" coil. Thanks flintstone

What coil would be good for parks and play grounds? Is there a 8" round coil for the G2 ? I got the detector today, looks new, don,t know if i will like the 11" coil or not. What do you think.

5x10 elliptical is the "killer" coil for target separation and good depth too (not quite as deep as the 11") but close and tighter separation ;-)

Might look into the NEL Sharp and Sharpshooter coils also. I use the Sharpshooter on my GBP and like it. They are priced fairly reasonable as well.
