Keith Southern... Watched the video you made for the F75 with the DST feature...

Sure would like some feed-back as it seems there is a typo in the manual on PGPG31...

2. SEARCH WITH THE dP PROCESS. This method calculates visual ID differently in
order to cause steel bottle caps to ID lower on the scale and to register less
consistently. It also produces more audio clues to the character of the target.

I searched the process section of the manual and don't see a "dP" process mentioned...

The following processes are mentioned from PG22:
FA: FAST PROCESS
dE: DEFAULT PROCESS
JE: JEWELRY PROCESS
bc: BOTTLE CAP MODE
bP: BOOST PROCESS
CL: CACHE LOCATING PROCESS

Any input from forum members about the "dP" process will be greatly appreciated...

dP is likely refering to delta pitch tones. different pitch for every vdi digit. closest you get to blendy audio.

DP or Delta Pitch is under the #of tones part of thr menu, not the modes part of it.

Searched the manual for "dP" and found the following;

PG22: Number of Tones (# of Tones)

dP: DELTA PITCH This setting produces a tone whose pitch varies in relation to the visual ID
number -- the higher the ID, the higher the pitch. Good for relic hunting. This setting is
also useful in areas with a high concentration of steel bottle caps. Coins will produce a
fairly constant pitch as you sweep back and forth. Bottle caps produce inconsistent
tones, often with a squawk at the beginning of the sound.

Now that I've looked at the manual again, I see where this reference to "dP" pertains to tones and not an actual
Process Number (Process #)...

Sure makes sense after a second glance; Even though "dP" was referenced as a process and not a tone selection...

Thanks for you're time in unclogging my neural connections...

their documentation is riddled with typo's. There is a typo in the frequencies available for frequency select and the typo is in all manuals, documentation and website.
