Location is probably your most important factor in finding a g.c. There was a very thorough and long thread on this subject on this forum. Well worth searching for it. Good luck in your quest!

Its not the unit as all detectors can find one providing the area is not notched or discriminated out....Keep in mind from a one dollar in foil area to a 20 dollar in high coins covers a lot of meter area and the trick is to go over one.

Gold coins are hard to find...I think any good machine will find it if you are digging that type of number where foil comes in same with rings hard to find because it is where the trash findings are. I found a ring with a gold coin as part of the gold ring...maybe that counts???

3 for the 1265. Does that make it the best?
Naw it just means the coins were there to be found and the user knew when to dig.

Also shows that a high dollar machine is not required.
