That could be, I know i loaded a 445 black power and could only get the ball half way down. NOW WHAT TO DO, i placed a cap on and layed it in the forks of a big tree, got down on my knees and hid my head. I knew i could not hold the gun down,so i put a sand bag on it and pulled the trigger. I was looking for the thing to blow apart. The black smoke cleared and i was still alive, didn,t hurt the old gun at all. Don,t know why the one bullett did not go, i even used a hammer and it would not go down. I can just think the first time he put that bullett in the gun. I wounder if he had someone else shoot it?
