Gold! CTX VS F75ltd se2 Also BP vs JE air tests

First number is BP second number is JE

9kt baby ring(the size of a marble)----CTX 9" vs f75 12"/12.5"

18kt Large Ankh(size of a 50 cent piece)----CTX 11" vs f75 15"/13.5"

10kt 1926 class ring(thin broken size of a quarter)----CTX 10" vs f75 13"/11.5"

14kt(?) ring from the 1800's(thicker broken size of a quarter)----CTX 10" vs f75 12.5"/12.5"

10kt ring(thin size of a quarter)----CTX 13" vs f75 16.5"/14"

14kt 1987 class ring(thick a bit smaller than a 50 cent piece)----CTX 14" vs f75 17.5"/15"

10kt thin chain----CTX couldnt find it vs f75 3"/3"

14kt crucifix(smaller than a dime)----CTX couldn't find it vs f75 3"/4"

The CTX would just get more faint as the target got deeper however, the f75 was banging loud until just about the last two inches. It also seems that JE is really good on smaller gold jewelery. These are just air tests, so don't panic lol j/k

I really like the Je mode on the F75 especially since we can now run it wide open on sens and see the full gain...

Glad people are starting to get proper f75s it so seems...

Just about what I would expect, just curious, what was the volume gain on the CTX set at? What coils were used on the machines?

Any chance you recorded the VDI numbers? Good job on your testing!

CTX 11" stock coil 28 sensitivity wide open screen I didnt check the volume but It was loud enough to hear. I will double check when I get a chance. EDIT it was at 17 I raised it to 30 and there was no difference.
F75 11" stock coil 99 sensitivity

Yeah, the CTX is defeated by well-made single-freq detectors in med-to-good soil. It is only in the high mineralized soils that it's hybrid GB algorithm has an edge over the standard I-B detector. When it comes to the tiny gold cross and chain - it will never find it.
