Anybody got air test numbers on F19?

Just got a new Fisher F19. Initial air test with stock 10" elliptical coil, and sens at 100, disc at 0. 7" on barber dime....thoughts?

I think I was getting close to 9 with weak repeatable signal.

Hey Bill------Funny you would ask that---I was just doing an air test on our F-19 today with the exact same settings you used. (5 X 10 stock coil)-------I got 8 1/2" on a clad dime----9 1/2" on a clad quarter & 11 1/2" on a nickel.------That was with a good repeatable hit both ways & the test was done on a metal free table--no EMI present.---------Del

I like the 5x10 on the F19 but for depth add the 11" Bi-Axial..

the Bi-Axial is the real deal on it for a kick in the pants...

Got my 11" and Ultimate 13"coils on my G2 I can use, but was wondering if what I am seeing is about right. I will try it again tomorrow outside. Thanks guys!

I'll be interested to see how you do with the F19 vs your G2....

with stock 5 x 10 coil, and same settings as you used, I get slightly over 9 inches with a strong repeatable signal on a clad dime. Just under 10 inches with a clad quarter.

Still inside...too cold for air testing outdoors...getting 11" on a nickel...7-8 on a clad dime, about 9 on a quarter

Bill------If you would---put your 11" bi-axial & 13" Ultimate coils on the F-19 & report what you get.------I gained about an inch when going to the 11" coil (from the 5 X 10)-----then I gained another inch when going to the 13" Ultimate (from the 11".------I had no EMI on the 11" coil but picked up a little EMI on the Ultimate coil when I tested them.----------Del

Del, I get about the same results as you do with the other two coils
