Very interesting...

Does Gary Keithline ("Guvner" ) create a new forum directory on FM based on detector popularity or does a manufacturer need to "sponsor" the website before he gives it an audience?

A person just might call a turkey in with it; especially in the fall.

When I see a coil wire wrapped in that fashion it screams: IDIOT.

I think it sounds pretty cool, but would probably damage your hearing pretty quickly with headphones on.

Nice looking machine. But I couldn't handle that tone. I also like my coil wire neatly wrapped/secured with just enough play for coil to move without pulling on cable. Nexus has been around for quite awhile. With all these newer machines coming out I'm surprised none are multifrequency. Not selectable single freq but true mulit freq. hopefully on the next gen fbs we'll see selectable recieve freq within fbs platform. They say it transmits 1.5-100khz but I hear it recieves on 7khz. I would love to see an fbs machine where you could select the recieve freq of say 3khz, 7khz, 15khz, 25khz, or even 75khz "for prospecting or micro jewlery". I'm not even sure it's possible to do its just a thought.
