1/2 Reale

Found my 2nd silver coin today and it appears to be a 1/2 Reale dated 1808. It appears to have been clipped along the edges (a practice used to pilfer bits of silver from coins in those days). The coin measures slightly less than the 17mm diameter of a 1/2 Reale coin. It is pictured next to the "1 bit" piece cut from an 8 Reale coin that I posted here last Monday. Found with my F75 LTD about 6" deep with the 5" DD coil.

Well at least he's not from around my parts and maybe there's still a little in the ground around here lol.
