Problem ground balancing my CZ
May 24, 2015 03:44PM
Having a bit of difficulty ground balancing my CZ-7 read the manual and think that I am doing it right, it seem to ground balance in my yard when I tried it but on my hunt yesterday I could not seem to set it. I turn the on/off dial to 10 hold in the pinpoint button lower the coil to the ground but the threshold didn't seem to change when I turned the knob. I am sure I am not doing something that I should and hoping someone can help me out. Thanks! Steve

Use the bobbing method

much easier

Crank up sens, put in all metal, bob the coil, adjust the threshold to a steady even threshold.....re-set controls where you like them.

And if you really want to get better with your CZ, you might have a look at a post on Findmall today. The CZ's designer, Dave Johnson chimes in with some ID advice.
