I also tested my ETP w/8" coil using the same setup

It was not too bad. When I turned up the discrimination to barely tune out the test pulltab, I was getting lots of high tones even though the numbers were still in pulltab territory.

However, when I set the disc to eliminate everything up to, but not including a US copper penny, it fell dead silent. No sounds at all.

I think the ETP is a great product for the money.... decent separation, but not at Tesoro level.
