Unusual pocket spill.

While at a local park, I was digging as many good targets as possible. This park never gave a wheat cent or a silver as i was told that a father and son team that lived across the street cleaned it out. I was using the F75 ltd2 and got a dime signal. I dug in that common small sized red rock gravel, and found three coins together:

A 1985 nickel, a 1988 dime, and a decently worn 1947 dime. It must have been in circulation at the time.

Pretty neat.

Over the years have found coins stuck together but unfortunately never a silver combo...

Bey, that is pretty neat for sure!

The percentage of silver dimes in circulation by 1988 or later would be minuscule, so that makes that 1947 dime extra exciting.

I love those beat the odds rare finds where a keeper is somewhere you'd never think it would be.

I know and i know it was in circulation because the red gravel was fill. I kept rubbing the 1988 dime hoping I was wrong and it was a silver lol.
