V3i grounding question
July 27, 2015 11:38PM
Quick question, Ok my ground shows 2.7 under each 3 frequencies, and a -92 under the ground part. What does this -92 mean? Will I need to do anything with correlate, wrap&span?

What do I need to do different on my settings? Is this where the BP needs to go? Low, 5BP...mild, 7.5BP, etc?

Thank you,
Bubba

Bubba,
The V3i does have a way to judge the mineral level say in a site. IMO forget about those and do 1 of 2 things (1) bury a target at nominal depths and adust settings for optimum tones/readings, or (2) find a target of medium to deeper depths and adjust settings for optimum performance.

Now using three frequency on the V3i===lost depth
Single freq much deeper---depth on higher and lower conductors depends on freq selected.

Correlate uses multiple frequencies.

To save me from a lot of typing here's a link maybe will help you.
