Selling my Classic III Plus Modded

I have a Pristine ..Like new...Whites Classic III Plus with Blue max 950 coil...I modded for more power on recieve and transmit and added external ground bal and threshold..

this is a Very powerful unit..

A dime airtest at 12.5 inches in normal and 13.25 in black sand mode

A Quarter airtest at 13.5 inches normal and 14.75 black sand mode..

its deeper in Disc now than in all metal on a quarter..

Ive driven this one up very hot as I had plans for it to go into a Amphibian water housing but nevr found a amphibian machine to get the housing of of...

Ive driven the coil hot too during the mod.. this is a very deep unit in the soil whan ground balanced to your soil..

So waht it has is

Ground bal mod added to faceplate placed in headphone hole.
Threshold Mod added to rear opposite freq shift..
recieve sens mod..
Transmit boost mod..
Headphone relocated to back of housing ...Much better out of the way postion..

runs on 3 9 volts.. and can be hipmounted I have the cable extension for this..

has orignal manual to boot..

runs any of the blue max coils like the XLT or 5900 6000 etc..

disc iron wonderfully and works wonders in nails with the 600 blue max coil installed...loves silver..

I hate to sell it but I have other classic modded machiens and this one will just sit till I find a Amphibian case and My mind is off that now...

thing is deep and sweet!!

That didn't take long! It's really too bad more people haven't had a chance to use one of the modded Classics,but it's not what folks want in general anymore. As I've said before,while I'm happy to have both my modded IDXPro and Explorer,if the IDX had tones and ability to run a good selection of DD coils I'd have no idea what an Explorer looked like. Good buy Rick!
