More gold with the Deus!!!! etc etc

Went relic hunting with my buddy and had a great time!!! Great fellowship. Great finds. The gold wedding band (14K) was 4 inches deep. There is no name on it. Plus a few finds from trip. Except for the sash buckle and Indian Head. I found it in a site in town with the Deus. (9" coil)

Did you try full tones on your hunt???

Yes, TNSS, when I am in heavy iron (a literally thick blanket of square nails) I have been having great success in full tones. I was using 2 tone when I found the ring but I was hunting in low trash area. But Full Tones has been a really awesome discovery. I must again say thanks for opening my eyes to it. I can imagine that there are other little secrets about this machine that I have yet to learn, that would open up areas......again. Happy Detecting!!!! Thanks Tom41. The Starr Carbine bullet and the Sash buckel where found here in town a couple of days before the other finds. I threw them in there to kinda show how the Deus has been treating me, and to get some more folks fired up to go digging. Thanks for you kind comment. Group them together all ya want...would say many, to include myself are living vicariously through others hunts and YouTube vids. Weather hit again today and not looking good temp wise for a while yet. Got a question, heard it many times but never checked it out....what makes a IH a "fatty"?

Hi Keith! Your post didn't show up yesterday. That's why I didn't reply. My computer is on the brink of being replaced!!! The Indian head is a 1906 model. This year, I just cannot seem to find a coin that is pre- 1900. lol (I had to show off my sash buckle. lol It ain't much....but I'm proud of it. LOL

Tom41, I found an 1865 Indian head a couple of years back that was a fattie. I am not sure when they changed the thickness. I assume that it was sometime in the late 1800's. Tom41, aren't you next on the list of who gets to read the Racer book??? Jack has mailed it to me and I am reading it. I will be done soon. I did and the wind still cut right thought them! lol Still, didn't do too badly. Part of an epaulette, several 36 and 44 round balls. A Kepi button. Some camp lead. It could have been better. But me and my hunting buddy had a blast!
