Deteknix Quest Pro First Field Test Video !!

May not be in HD yet

First outing and the machine seems dandy to me in the three hours I searched.

Had gain at 65 and ID Filter at 15 to keep ground signals calm.
Not chatting not sounding off erratic just running nice and stable and that how it should run.

I can't vouch for other areas but in my search area near small power lines I had no issue with EMI.

Dealt with iron ok and didn't make a meal of things.

Found items small and large.... The Quest Pro has punch and good sensitivity.

No stem wobble that bothered me in the slightest and no issues to report apart from....

I personally would like to see the Control Box tilted a little more forward for ease of use and to see the display a little easier but that's my only little gripe I see at the moment.

Machine got soaked and didn't play up on the wet grass so that's good.

Deepest item today was at around 9" with good audio.

So for the first outing I feel this machine is spot on.
For the UK price of £499 I feel what you get is worth the money.

Very nice video Ziggy i cant believe that there are no comments on here maybe some people were hoping it was going to field test poorly, it has very acceptable performance from what i saw.

Cheers.... I feel many wanted it to fail for alternative reasons but you see in my video is a decent machine for the price..... Would of like to be able to set the tone break myself instead of it being preset to creep nearer the iron but still acceptable for price.

Also the machine does have preset programs but you use the ground balance button instead of holding the M button as quoted by Deteknix.

Just press and hold the ground balance button then cycle through programs with the cursor buttons up and down.

We know what to expect out of a t2. Nothing new.

Looks fine but nothing that would make me want to rush out and get one. Similar to many that are already out there that have proven dependability.

You cant expect waterproof performance with the T2 so that's new.

Thanks for the video.

£499 is about $725.00 USD. Seems there are a lot more offerings in that price range that I would go to before this, although maybe not so many in the UK.

Good luck to them but it does seem like it's a Chinese rip off of a T2 and they will never see a penny of my money. I won't support those types of companies. China all ready counterfeits to many American products.
