Racer2 manual

This under notch filter section may be a typo. Should probably say "with the NOTCH FILTER"

With the ID FILTER you can reject a single ID or multiple IDs at the same time. This process
does not affect any IDs below or above the selected IDs. For example, you can filter our IDs
between 31-15 as well as 50 simultaneously.

I believe you can do the same thing on the F-19/G2+..

Yes, that's one typo. Another is that it says in the last
sentence "you can filter our IDs" when I think it means
"you can filter out IDs".

Overall, the manual looks like it is done well, but a few errors
inevitably creep in when something is done quickly. I'm keeping
a list of errors (and questionable translations) I've noticed so far.

Thank you!! Yes, they are typos and corrected.
We appreciate it.

I sent you a PM with my corrections and suggested improvements to the Racer2
User Guide so far. Thanks for your interest in improving it!

Really neat to see a collective/collaborative effort between Mfr & user........ to the point whereby Mfr & User is virtually one-and-the-same.

Typos like this are what you come to expect from manuals done in non-English as a first language countries. So far what I have seen from them is as good OR BETTER than most American made manuals. Kudos to our friends at Makro and Nokta! It says you CARE as does your rapid response to customer input. To me this means buy with confidence. And to those who gripe that they came out with a new model just after you bought, I hope you are not married. cool smiley

Hello. I received the PM and it is all updated now. Thank you very much. Nice to see customers' interest in our efforts to make it all better for the end users.
We really appreciate it!

The header on the top of page 19 isn't in English:

Hassasiyet, iSAT ve Eik (Gain, iSAT ve Threshold)

Yes, that's one of the errors I reported to Makro in the first version of the R2 User Guide.
They now have an updated English version at:

The text appears to all be updated, but they haven't fixed all the graphics yet,
particularly the box/frame around the current Mode instead of underlining.

I don't mind helping a company out even if I don't buy their products (Racer 2 on the way.......;o) if they seem to listen to their customers and seem like they really want to work with us. Some of the other companies almost have an arrogance about them when you try to suggest updates or ask questions or point out something that could be changed.

The mode will be framed when the cursor is in the mode selection and when you are in settings, it will be underlined. Hope it is clear.

I occurs to me that there is not another company I'd bother sending a manual correction to as I expect it would be ignored. Then again I never tested this theory. Even so, the Nokta/Makro folks elevate my view of humanity. [There I go preaching again] cool smiley
