Deus hunt 2-22-2016

A couple hour hunt today-- carpet of nails.

Half of these finds--- only a slight tinkle of any good tone.

After taking a couple inches of dirt off-- signal slightly better
Another couple of inches off- slightly even better
Then another inch bam-- good signal.

Full tones 0 disc 18 kHz reactivity 3 silencer -1, 9" coil.

Folks my hearing, I don't think is bad by no means.
Wind was dead.

I was using the backphones--- I can hear heavily makes targets far better than using the full grey ghost Deus modified phones.
I have to use the grey ghost when it is windy.

So folks beware--- tone pitch higher with backphones
I at one time had the full Xp headphones-- but they sounded lower in pitch to backphones as well.

Wish I would have had a CTX with 6" coil to listen to these targets. Some of these were the kinda sounding targets I was trying to find last Friday -- to compare with CTX. But hard for me to do with all the wind.

Now to be fair--- sometimes this tinkle of a tone turns out to be iron-- but the odds are definitely worth it IMO.

Oh, the dreaded shotgun bases and the .22 hulls. All of my sites are infused with them!!! Still, I see a few good looking brass pieces in there. Good hunt.
