I spoke with a Minelab rep at a treasure show last year about coils for the Equinox. Her statement to me was "Minelab is not in the business of making coils, but Detectors"

I'm curious about the difference between the 2 modes, All Terrain Low Conductors and Beach Low Conductors. What is the machine doing different in these modes from each other.
I hunt fresh water dirt, limestone and granite based gravel and sand. Is there an advantage of one over the other off of saltwater conditions?
I'd like to use the one that is the most sensitive to small gold

I bought this with the intentions of modifying it to a chest mount unit. Since I already have an Etrac that's converted, I've decided not to. Comes with the AA battery pack and an aftermarket aluminum armrest. I did put a Zagg clear screen protector on the entire faceplate to help prevent scratches. Asking $185 shipped, I have pictures available upon request.

WTB....Nice clean well taken care of Equinox 800. I'd like some warranty if possible and I don't need extra coils or accessories, factory items work for me. You can e-mail me at dign4au2@yahoo.com with pictures and a price shipped to zip code 78643(Texas), thanks.

I have 3 coils for the FBS machines, a Coiltek 15" WOT, an 11" Pro coil and an Explorer XS 10.5" coil. The 11"Pro coil has some sheathing issues, but, does not affect the performance. I have wrapped the spots with electrical tape. I'm selling all 3 coils as a lot for $150 shipped. You can contact me at dign4au2@yah
