One thing I really like about the V3I is the 3 frequency pinpoint. Silver and all coins but zinc pennies the lower frequency is highest when you pinpoint. Gold and lower conductor targets the 22.5 frequency is the highest at pinpoint. Usually I can tell what the target most likely is by the pinpointing bar graphs. Combined with the polar plot a lot of information can be gathered to give you a ide

Sounds like you had a lot of fun with the old Compass. Isn’t that what this hobby is all about? Great read and interesting information. Thanks!

I agree with J&D completely. Wonder what the warranty could possibly be? 30 days and it would be destroyed. This is just a novelty.

I wonder what the penalty would be if a guy tried to keep a valuable find secret and avoid having the queen claim ownership. To me it would be tempting to do so. So glad the government here has no such BS.

Find mall has strict rules regarding criticizing another member. Elton chastised me when I made a joke about a member. Elton actually apologized for coming on so strong when he replied to my apology for my remarks. Absolutely no nonsense allowed!

Clicked on here not expecting you’d be alone! I got 2 free issues with detectors I purchased from FTP. Subscription offers I didn’t do. Came close to getting ripped off, but didn’t.

That T2+ bundle with Tek-Point PI Probe and digger is a heck of a deal. Subtract cost of the extras and a new T2+ is around $400. 5+2 years warranty as well. Doesn’t get any better than that!

Sven1 just educated me today. Didn’t realize that Canada had done away with the dollar bill. Finding one and two coins would definitely be nice. Hopefully the US will follow suit and do the same. I know we have dollar coins but need to get rid of the bills to promote the coinage. Makes too good of sense, so probably won’t happen!

This is the last bastion that will allow the Basher to spew his vitriol. Friendly, Finds, they all got tired of it. He baits you with a video then hammers the dissidents. It’s just a game to him and your being played.

The Sef 6X8 coil should be another consideration for the T2. It provides stable ID, separation, and surprising depth. My T2+ sports this coil exclusively, and by it’s performance, am surprised not to hear of others using it. A great alternative worth investigating.

Nokta/Makro sure has a great spokesperson in Dilek. She knows her products and is quick to answer questions and resolve problems. She promotes with enthusiasm and knowledge. She is a model to emulate, a true advocate for Makro/Nokta. They should be thankful to have her.

Calabash likes to create controversy.
Comparison videos should do just that, compare and let the viewers decide what is best for them. I actually enjoyed Calabash’s first few videos, up until he started berating the “inferior” machines. Now it has gotten very old, and very predictable. One thing always left out, is the skill someone has acquired from many hours of learning a detector. I hav
