I have the same problem.
None of the other sites have this problem. Why is it only this one?
I'm not changing my security settings just to get legible view here when its not needed anywhere else.

FBS is good, however the XS model is a little old. I would point you toward the Etrac if you want to experience Minelab's FBS. I didn't think I would like the change from the Explorer's S-curve discrimination line to the Etrac's linear line but I have found I like it much better. Conductivity moving horizontally and ground effects moving vertically is much easier to foll

Hi aguerrero56,
I started out with a Tracker IV in Jan 2004 and have owned,,,,,I don't know,,,maybe 6 of them over the years since then as I like it and they are cheap to buy, I find them for 20 bucks in garage sales every so often and can't seem to walk away from them. I also own and use a Compadre on a fairly regular basis, mostly with a Cleansweep coil mounted on it.

I still have my Impact Pro pack....bought it earlier in the year when I saw how much the price had dropped. I replaced my 19 kHz Fisher/Tek series units with it and just run it in 20 kHz like a souped up F19.
I like it and don't plan to part with it.

You keep selling them and then you keep buying another one. Might as well just keep it.
Great price for a nice looking unit, though.

Sound to me like everyone is expecting Garrett to not be Garrett. Once you read the manual you know It is the top of the line ACE series. ACE150 through ACE APEX. That is all it is. No special sauce included.
If the other ACE models didn't do well in a nail board test, this one wont either.

TNSS For ground checking I use All Metal mostly because it also tells me I'm not over metal or a hot rock skewing my reading. As Ozzie stated it will also spike over metal, and remember, you should also include your GB number in your analysis.

I like the spontaneity of corded headphones. You can grab a set and go without worrying about their battery charges or having extra batts on hand for them. Yes, wireless is nice and I have some, but I find I grab the corded sets more often than not just because I don't have to mess with them.
I always have to 'plan and prepare' for the wireless and I don't always have

Hi Caretaker,
The Golden Olde. I haven't heard that one mentioned in a while. I enjoyed Norm's articles. I have his site mirrored on a USB stick around here somewhere. Another one I enjoyed reading was Allan Hassel. Probably mis-spelled his name. Australian beach hunter. His site dropped prior to 2008. I mirrored his site too so I wouldn't loose his articles.

What really hurt the Treasure depot was White's dropping their forum sponsorship. Once Whites left, all the forum's participation started to fall and eventually died off except for a handful of dedicated members.

Hi Harold,
Yes...I wanted another one for my Cleansweep coil. Right now I can run the Cleansweep coil with either a Cortes, a GSII, an Outlaw or a Compadre.

I've bought and sold a lot of detectors on the 'Depot since I started out in 2004. I check it at least once a day. I will miss it if it goes away.

Daniel,
I'm always telling my wife that when we move rural after retirement I was going to get some working goats just for the fence lines. She always thought I was kidding her (she's a city girl) until one day out on a country drive we ran into some goats hitched to the fence doing exactly that. They were about halfway down a quarter section fence line and it was plain to see their

It's the grass catching that kills them IMO.
I've always been the fool and walked it, all the time casting jealous eyes toward the neighbor's rider. But I've always enjoyed mowing. Easy exercise and think time. Better than using an idiot stick, which I have done more times than I care to admit.
TNSS....get you some goats for those fence lines. Throw in a big Bil

The V3 is a great instrument once you get your head wrapped around it. Congrats on your 10" silver.
I was very glad to see you had your RX gain at a lower level. The most common failure is setting the RX gain too high.

It would be nice if they could fashion some good non-ferrous discrimination with Multi IQ that could compete with the Etrac or V3.
BBS was good in that you could charge up a target and with an expanded meter and get pretty good id but it was so slow and every target needed a charge up.. FBS added the two dimensional discrimination, Etrac added the ability to only report on the strongest non

When Whites stopped sponsoring forums, forum discussions of Whites products are pretty much what you see here.
You would probably have to hang around their facebook page to find good discussions or links to Whites friendly forums.

My detector is so ugly that I have to double bag it when i take it out in the rain.
Knock Knock,
Whos there?
I Etrac
I Etrac who?
I Etrac gold for you.
There once was a Fisher from First Texas
Who's meter was locked on Gold,
When Minelab complained and got opoplexy,
First Texas had them towed.
My Tesoro's are so hot, the battery test is a sizzle

End game....
I suspect the end game is to discover a viable, reliable treatment regime for it that our primary care physician can prescribe until a vaccine can be added to our regular flu shot and then life goes on as normal until the next virus pops out of some bush meat wet market and we do this all over again.
What disturbs me most is the national mainstream media's promotion of co
