A friend has spent a good bit of time with it and says it has much more zip than the pro. He says it hunts like an AT Gold if that makes sense. Between the increased gain and slightly lower freq its a pretty danged good on coins.

Off season to the specific sports is a big thing for me. Im also big on going on extreme weather days when people dont go outside.. cold and sometimes dog day heat...You can hit any baseball field you want on a frigid day in december. People are funny about football fields depending on how well theyre maintained. Theres not much trash on them, and Ive found a couple big mens gold necklaces on the

It's an audio gain...Turning it down doesn't change the tx/rx of the coil, make the detection area lesser or the machine separate any better. It's red cousin separates just as good or better at 99 as 50, if the ears do their part.

I think our end of the hobby is slowly going to keep fading away...Between losing spots and hunt able locations being beat to death by current Tech it's just not worth it. Someone said much of Europe will be drastically clean down to 8-10" inches in the next decade. Still lots of good finds being made but you got to hustle.
Wish I'd gotten into water hunting about a decade ago

The VDI it seems is linked with the gain..In D2 and gain at 96 the tone and VDI there's no distinguishable targets that I can't get a diggable tone without numbers.

X2 on the self fusing tape..I get some at work that holds up for years in extreme tempatures and direct sunlight. Don't need to cut it to remove or glue anything.

They're getting the machines from Kellyco, so the direct comparisons between machines may not be exactly what is wanted. They do a good job on they're videos and are entertaining. I like when he digs something and is crouched over the hole wondering what it is and says, "let's ask future Kurt" and the video cuts to him in his home after hes cleaned and researched the find

Ground moisture on different days can change a spot from dead to seemingly full of targets. The higher freq machines and they're tighter waves are really hindered more than lower freq machines.
Just another reason right now is relic season for me.

Very nice. No toggling between disc and all metal roof check targets yet not as "busy" as a mixed mode. My brain can't keep up with non stereo mixed modes as they're too busy. This appears to be a game changer and time saver. The VCO appears to be crisp and conveying. It's rare to see anything unique these days and this IS.

Regarding the current line up; you're better off looking at FBS machines. The higher freq turk machines don't hunt as well in modern trash nor can can they roll of the edge of a target and hit deeper- often older coins. If you want shallower coins and aren't dealing with an ocean of modern trash; they are decent for covering ground like on sports fields for example. If you can; han

For heavy iron the small coiled racer is a good tool..If you have targets beyond 4" or so the Turkish units struggle to hit them in trash. I think what makes them good at picking out little shallow low conductors others seem to miss is what makes them poor at punching through the tiny decomposing nails.
The F75 will hit deeper, older coins. The racer will hit cuff buttons, corset clasps,

Keith; does the impact have more punch in all metal mode than disc? The previous units from nokta/makro all seem to have not offered any extra depth over disc.

That's a great find..Congratulations. It would be neat if you could figure out if a veteran lived there and have an idea who it belonged to possibly. I found one of the larger markers years ago in a cow pasture . Figured it was a grave marker and let it be.
You're really making the T2-C tempting. Be nice if the impact would materialize. Sounds like we're getting closer.

So long TNSS. You seem like a good person. I will admit to it being fatiguing and it being at times off putting. I simply choose not to read topics that don't interest me, but at times alot of posts get bogged down with the "now consider this" back and forth thoughts. I bought an early MXSPORT and when searching online you seemed to be on 3 or 4 forums, going on and on about what w

It sure would be interesting to see what a 2x4 SEF could do on an FBS machine. If it could hit 4-5" coins that would be a heck of an asset for the right person in the right site. I've ran the 6x8 and 10x12s on minelabs and Whites and really liked them. The shape just clicks with me mentally more than say a 6" round coil.

At the end of the day the sweep speed is just too finnicky for me. Spent alot of time getting to know them and they have they're merits but the machines just aren't as sure of themselves as I'd prefer.

Very cool! I'm away from my book and by no means a bullet guru, but I'm pretty sure Thomas mentioned larger "tower" rifles, up to .75 Cal to add another thought.. Whatever it is that's a rare bird.

Anyone have any experience with one? I may have the opportunity to get one cheap. I was always intrigued years ago; but I've never been around one. Any specifics would be appreciated. This unit has the 15" coil and I'm told an 8". Curious how it would fair with the 8" coil at the 5hz freq.

There's a noticeable hard pan around here in alot of places that artifacts just flat stop at. We've brought equipment in on sites and it's amazing how many civil war artifacts were at 18-20". Smaller items that are out of reach of a detector.
Perhaps over many, many years they'd continue to sink into the clay but at a noticeably slower rate. Can't help but wonder i
