This is nothing more than a cheaper rival to the Impact more than any thing else, the clue is in the pricing this is 800 bucks the CTX is 2500/3000, they are not going to release a machine for 800 dollars that can beat their 3000 dollar machine because they would end up loosing 2200 dollars and that does not make good business sense to shoot them selves in the foot.

What a load of crap, this changes nothing, single frequency machines have a dedicated purpose and all detectors put out a magnetic field, all it means is that it can do multiple things and just how well it can do them is unknown, some multipurpose machine do well others don't.

It is just a cheap mid range detector it won't make anything obsolete not in the slightest, it might be just a replacement for the Xterra, there is no way will it replace the CTX.

Yeah what Keith said, if you hit a larger silver coin in the top 3 to 6 inches it will blow your ears off, and larger copper coins hit Awful hard so you need a set of Grey Ghosts with a built in noise limiter, I used the standard 10" coil 99% of the time and it was very deep, I also had a 14/15 inch Detech coil which I did not find much with because I found the factory 10" was good eno

Yeah that would be good, and let it use existing Coils so we don't have to wait for them to be invented after it has been released..

I hope so, I hope they put it in a housing like the CTX.

ahh so it's another multi frequency machine, Those numbers look like it might be another BBS machine at long last, It's about time if that is the case. Long over due.

Some of these older designs opened my eyes and the volume when you flick the PP mode will blast your ears off, I thought the newer machines were meant to give more depth etc but when they went digital they actually lost depth according to one Whites engineer. and the older machines prove it time and time again,

They are legendary machines for sure, I don't see them being out paced for a while yet.

Lol, yep I think your right on that one,,, How anyone can claim that a new product is going to make all others obsolete is beyond me, I have a 28 year old Whites 5900 that will smoke any thing that is on the market when it comes to depth so this new one is going to have to be mega powerful.

No it's Not, Mine is not going to stop working just because someone else brings out a new machine, and why on earth do people have to buy tickets when they can just go to the dealers to get one. ?

One thing to Note is that how the Depth increases when you turn the GB off on the TDI Pro, BUT with the TSI SL you will loose depth if you turn the GB off, The TDI SL gives better depth with the GB On.

Most of America's Industries got moved over seas because of greedy chairman worrying more about share holders than the Brands or the people who made them what they are, How many Broke share holders do you know and how many Broke CEO's do you know, and how many broke men and women do you know or seen. America's Companies have died in the A$$ because of Profits and Greedy People, And

At first I thought trump might of been a good thing but that's turning sour real quick and Mrs C has been accused of all sorts of things with no proof to show for it, I thought people were innocent til proven Guilty, I wonder how some of you folks would feel if the world found you Guilty without a Trial or an Ounce of Proof, Or do you think that you are entitled to special treatment where th

I bought them when I was running the Sovereign GT and the Etrac, To be honest I found they restrict the amount of Gain you can use on the GT because they are bigger than the standard coil, with the GT Nulling out all the time even with the standard 10" BBS coil the SEF made it worse and lack the sensitivity to tiny bits,
Where as fit an SEF on to a Whites the lack of sensitivity of the

Well if you took the figures only from the date that the AT pro was released then there is a vast difference, because it would not be fair to compare it from the many years before hand because the MXT came out around 2000, in the EU I have never

Comparing one detector with a 6" coil to one with an 8" coil is an invalid judgement to make, The MXT will ID Iron better with a concentric Coil using about a third of the amount of Disc, Set up right both machine do equally as well as each other, It is with good reason that the MXT has out sold the At Pro over the years so as to which is better those figures speak for them selves, the

Is the GEN mode the Impacts version of All Metal.?

I am sure "WE" have all gone over an area with one machine and then gone over the area with another machine and still made finds.
Judging by the amount of people here who have done exactly that I have no reason to doubt what MichiganRelicHunter is saying, We have all done that at one time or another and after we have gone over the site with a new machine a few times the finds tend t
