Ya ...old school out dated ertac, with it's stable target Id on deep targets and accurate depth meter & running very stable, wouldn't know it was on if it wasn't for the threshold humming.
Congrats on the silver you found

The issue is most micro jewelry comes in at or near where salt comes in at
a few summers ago, I ran a tesoro sand shark and was shocked on all the small jewelry I was finding
Compared to my excal.

Not a big deal for For relics & jewelry hunters, as you must dig all the low VDI numbers, regardless how compressed they are.
Now for coin hunters, looks like you must dig more trash to get your nickels. It's still early but there's videos showing the nox going very deep with very good VDI numbers on low conductors
But not doing all so good on the deep coins, so maybe th

Thanks for the report, the many videos I've seen on the nox , the depth gage reminds me of the f - 75 depth gage, which was never any where near accurate.

My park rangers don't mind me using my shovel , ever so often they watch me hunt
i actually can cut cleaner plugs on the deep targets, but its all about looking like you were never there
The vdi numbers seem real close to another on the eox

Over here in the USA..... we want..... Depth ....Depth....... deep coins .....deep beach jewelry .......deep Relics

USA sales are minimal to minelab............. compared to the rest of the world.

Yes .....the used detector market is flat now........but the equinox looks very promising at a affordable price point........the etrac is a (proven) deep & very stable machine & has very good (proven target ID) history
The 7 million dollar $$$$$ question is ........the eqionox has the etrac / 3030 type depth ?????
Do we see minelab selling a $800 Eqionox to go deeper than a $2,2

Whites TDI Pro was The Deepest Detector on (wet salt Black sand) I ever used. To bad I could only use it on The low tide sand only. Its discontinued now.
For Jewelry hunting The Sports Fields on The way from work, The VX3 is hard to beat, with it's Dead accurate Target ID / Pinpoint / Depth Readings.
After trying every Detector to man kind, I still have a whites in my trunk (for

Sure wish it's not anything like the mx5, which was a disappointment
the fastest detector I sold, think whites intentions were for it to replace the m6
Which was a good detector, I don't think it worked out for whites as the m6 is back in stock

The only advantage the V3I has over The Vx3, for my type of hunting (jewelry hunting the Parks) is the (Customize Tone adjustments) where the Vx3 don't have.
the V3I can be set to a 2 tone V Break, accept all VDI Numbers and customize the tones to where, all The Iron VDI Numbers have a (grunt tone) all the conductive numbers have a (High Tone) works great.

Been running a Whites Vx3 with stock 950 coil for my Jewelry hunting in the Parks / Sports field / Tot Lots, Now for that type of hunting, nothing beats the Vx3. (I've tried them all)
very Accurate pinpointing (must have for public sites) very accurate depth readings (must have for neat target recovery) very good target ID and very sensitive to low conductors.
I can swing the V

G2+ 11 inch coil, is the Best coin and Jewelry machine out there, Rock solid VDI Numbers
A lot people don't like them, because they don't have tone ID.

I used a TDI Pro one summer on The Southern California Beach's Water Line , unlike The East coast, we have Black sand, lots of it, TDI Purred like a Kitten in The Black sand.
It was Deepest Detector I ever used in No GB Mode, Using The TDI Pro had a price to pay, lots and lots of deep digging.
It also boggles my mind why whites did not water proof the TDI series detectors

99% of The Targets are under 3 inch's, A Detector / coil that Pinpoints very good is a Must...
