Hahahahaha, that's what happens when you have one major detector release once every couple years average amongst all the key players. People will buy it just to spend money on something new. Which is why every time someone has some homemade accessory they're selling on the forums it sells like hotcakes. Oh, what is that, a new way to mount your pinpointer somewhere, I'll take fo

It was pretty clear when he said glitches he was talking about the production line, not the machine. Quoting from Geotech "The glitches being worked out are production-related, which is a major reason for doing a pilot run."

Can definitely confirm this, which is one reason no matter what detectors I own I will still keep my F75. Guys from my detecting club nicknamed me Lord of the Rings because of how many dirt rings I pull up each year. This pic was one hunt with the F75 in a soccer field. I love my Equinox and use it more than most, but it sucks for working over sports fields for jewelry where random junk in the

Howdy,
Have to take a couple year break from metal detecting as I detected myself right into a repetitive stress injury and need two hand surgeries to fix it. I should have listened to my body early on, but thems the breaks I guess. All prices below are with shipping USPS priority. I have a couple dozen feedback on Friendly's under the same name. Will probably cross post at Friendly

What would be funny is if everyone started posting on the newest thread that they have just found 10 gold bars, make it great with some crazy location. Since the rules state you can't even allude that a story isn't true, you'd have a thread full of gold bar stories.

Cool, I guess if that's the point you were making it should have been in your original post. But I think you've already posted that dozens of times in multiple forums. You sure do like repeating yourself.

I don't need to send anything to Daniel of TN, I have an Equinox and I know the differences. I never said that the Eurotek can see everything an Equinox can, or any other detector. I know it can't, I have it on video. But I do know that it can see a gold coin at 6". Can it always see a gold coin at 6"? In trashy ground, nope.
My point was to make fun of yet another of

In general I've been reading on multiple forums and Facebook groups about issues that people have been having with the Equinox pre-and-post update that I've never seen a blip of. Such as:
- EMI issues. I can run with my cell phone on, next to a power substation, 3 blocks from NSA's magic orb that drives my F75 down to sensitivity 10, and get the Equinox stable at 20-21 sensiti

Did you guys/gals forward think this for the Anfibio? The Anfibio is planned to be my next detector purchase, but being 6'4" I always swing a tall man rod. I didn't know the Impact was that way, and since the Anfibio is based off the shaft design will the Anfibio also be that way?

I'm totally speculating here without any basis or background, but I've always believed that any performance hit with discrimination was simply due to the electronics ability to process signals in real time speed. Zero discrimination took all that signal crunching out of the equation, hence better responsiveness.
But that's just my SWAG answer, I'm not an engineer, but I

When I said auto ground balance, I meant tracking balance. I usually refer to the former as ground grab, seems weird to call it auto ground tracking since I've only owned one detector that didn't ground grab, and that was a Tesoro. I will start using the language from the manual for clarities sake though, thanks for pointing it out.

It’s selectable. They said they’re developing the simultaneous one now, to be packaged in their new beginner detectors body.

Nice, that size will come in handy for cleaning lots of stuff, more than metal Detecting finds. Sometimes things I should have thought to clean in it suddenly pop into mind and I kick myself. Li

Yep, good old distilled water is what I use for my good finds. Simple green works really well at removing rough patina withouit kissing the coin like vinegar and salt does. You are more than right about the buttons, I tore a CW R button up because I left it in too long, it was laying in the bottom of the baggie in pieces, lol.

I too found it more stable. Previously I could only max out at 23 without chatter, same sight, same day, same time of day after the update I was able to push to 25 stable.
I also dug a shallow indian first time out with the update, and mine came in 18-19 in Park 2, with a wheat coming in 24-25.

Just a heads up, people recently discovered that the GoPro Hero 2018, which costs $199, is actually a GoPro Hero 5 Black with dumbed down firmware. You can load the Hero 5 Black firmware on yourself and have a fully featured Hero 5 Black for $199, which is a super good deal.
