6. Iron Bias: When using the DFX.... we used to disc out the top one or two digits to keep us from having to reduce sensitivity from wrap around on big iron or hot rocks. We now have a single digit machine. Would disc out that top digit do the same on this machine and if so could we then reduce that default setting of 6?
Some detectors will return a 98 or 99 on a deep iron target and that i

Correct me if I'm wrong (it did happen once, so.....) - you can modify and save the factory programs but you can't save a program other than that. In other words you can have 8 programs only? Not that I think that's a big deal, just kind of surprising if true.

You can apply online and they will email your permit back very quickly (mine came back same day). No charge for it either.

Well, if you think about it, even the Earth is bi-polar.

If you can really RUN a Tesoro you'll beat most guys with the latest gizmo. Many of them don't even read the manual.

I just eyeball a landmark (tree, bush, house, post, etc.) as a marker and head toward it then do that again at the turn-around. Not perfect but easy to carry and store.

If you've never made a video for the public you may not understand the ratios involved. I and a friend made one, might not be typical, where we shot 11 hours of tape. Editing it to make it interesting and to have some logical flow in the story resulted in a 15 minute video. Those with more experience than we had probably have a much better ratio but I'm sure it's higher than you mi

I remember Minelab fbs ads from the early 2000's that showed a graph using all 28 frequencies at the same time. Turned out that wasn't true. Maybe their ethics have improved this time.
