F19 and F19LTD are the exact same units, only difference is the camo on the LTD version. Performance is identical.

This is a very hot machine and the people that say its "noisey" are the ones that are setting the sensitivity too high. Even at 30 or 20, this is a very sensitive machine. You have to let machine tell you where to set the sensitivity, so turn it down until its quiet and runs relatively quiet. In some places I can run mine wide open, in others at 50 or 60, and I have taken it all the

And Fisher engineers felt that a black coil would absorb unwanted sunlight heat. I also asked why the mounting ears were not in the center, as opposed to offset, and was told they tested that as well. Putting them in center did not imporove balance any.
I cant wait to try these new coils.

The connector locations (headphones and coil). I dont care how small your fingers are, the design of the connector "wells" make it impossible to easily plug in the coil and the headphones. There is no room what so ever to tighten them down without a great deal of effort. They also used a very bad style of connector with tiny pins that will invariably get bent while struggling to plu

I have four on oder but only got one delivered, and that one when to a customer that ordered one when they were first announced. Garrett has not been able to deliver machines in mass yet. I got to play with it a bit, and it seems like a very nice machine. It will definately fill a spot in the arsenal that other machines wont.

It is if you enter the All Metal mode FROM the Disc side Boost Mode. In other words, select Boost mode on the disc side, then hit the menu button and switch over to the all metal side. In that manner, the boost process carries over. On the other hand, if you enter the All metal mode from any of the other Disc modes (DE, JE, etc.), then you are in a "normal" all metal mode.

But I also have numerous recoveries where I picked the target out of the hard pack down in the bottom of the hole.
A coin or button that gets tipped on edge is nearly impossible for a machine to detect at deeper depth, but I also always use a Pocket Probe pinpointer so I catch these right away.

I remember talking about "ghost" signals when I first got my F75 and was told by Fisher "If you get a signal, and then lose it once you dig a plug, take another 3" out of the hole". I am very familiar with coins getting tipped on edge, or falling back down into the hole, but I can say for a fact, with the F75, here in Wisconsin soil (which is realively mild), this scenar

I took me 32 years to find my first one. Its dated 1857. It was the very first target I dug the day I tried my (then) new F70 for the very first time. I tell you what, it gives you a huge boost in confidence when the first coin your machine finds is a tiny, $1 US coin! I tried to keep detecting but my brain was mush. I couldnt concentrate, nor continue to hunt. Its a "high" I wont

In my opinion, this is one of the fine points of the F75 and LTD machines. It wasnt until I got my first F75 that I realized how BAD masking is and Tom helped me see how badly it can change the signal machines get. By switching to 2 tone, and turning your disk down to below 6 (I usually run mine at 4), you can hear both good and bad targets. Relic hunters love this feature because now you at l

You can say a certain setting will work in one spot vs another. Set your sens so the machine is stable, even it that is only at 20 or 30, it will still be a hot machine. Too many guys think you have to crank the sensitivity on this machine and you really cant do that. Let machine tell you, by listening to the "noise". If its chattering, you have it set too high.

I think Fisher was caught of guard, and really didnt think the unit we be as popular as turned out to be,in such a short amount of time. I think they figured that production build would last through the holidays. Rest assured, a product that popular, a company would be loco not to make more.
I know a dealer that still has an F75LTD. If anyone is interested, let me know.

As is the case with every new high-end machine it usually takes a while for the reports to start coming back about how good it is. I have not heard any yet, extolling the great depth and ability of the V3. Maybe it will take another 6 months? In my mind, if a machine is that difficult to learn and adjust, or takes a year before you really know what you are doing, it aint for me, I dont care ho
