Maybe 3 hrs total use in my yard. Has stock coil and also a 5.75 Concentric that I bought used that looks good and works perfect. The detector and stock coil are like new.
Original box and manual.
$440.00 includes shipping.
Will send Tom some also. Really great that he is sending out one of his detectors for others to try.
Paypal or postal money order.
I will try and get some good pic

Well yes and no.
Example
Set primary disc to knock out iron, set second disc. to just accept nickels.
When you get a signal pull trigger. If signal disappears your target is something higher than iron or something with the same conductive of a nickel or lower.

Hate to here it. My dad always said that without your health you have nothing. As I get older I realize how correct he was.
How does your husband feel about your situation? I know that my wife has been very supportive and always suggest that things will get better. I think she really knows that they may not but her attitude really helps mine.?
Best to you.

Well if you are using combined you can get the low iron, high conductor sound you want. Correct me if I am wrong but seems like you are trying to only get silver to give a high tone. Without a lot of disc.I don't think that you can get exactly what you are after.
As Keith mentioned multi conductive will give you more tone separation between silver and copper type targets but you will have t

Not an Explorer but I have been using the Sunray X5 on my Etrac and cant really say enough about it. Its been to dry to really hunt but my back yard is as good of place to try out a small coil as any.
I have several targets marked ready to dig if it ever rains. Most show to be in the 6" to 7" range.
I have tested it on my 8" dime and my 6" on edge dime. It hits the 8"

Not only are there a better selection of less expensive coils but the rods are way cheaper.
I liked my CTX but with the thought of the above and potential repair cost once warrant expired I sold it and got the Etrac.
I do missed the combined tones and target trace but I have been using the X5 and am digging less iron than I ever did with the ctx and 6"coil. Not really hunting much as i

Got my Eq2 Pro from Cabin Fever / Bryan today.
New condition as described. One of the easiest transaction I ever made.
Thanks Bryan
Initial thoughts.
Well built for sure
Little heavy. Time will tell if my shoulder and elbow can hold up.
Used it a little in my back yard so really can't comment on performance but seemed to separate well for its size.
Tried it in my test garde

Found a Sun Ray X-8 but now I want a larger than stock coil.
Have read a lot about the Ultimate and the Tornado. How would either of these do against the stock coil or should I be looking at something different?
No beach hunting, mostly silver coin hunting any place I can find.
Have the X-5,X-8 and stock coil.
All input welcome.
