Does your friend have a dog? If so, it could have been caused by an underground invisible fence. They produce an electronic pulse that activates the correction collar on the dog. It will also cause a pulsing beep on many detectors.

Tnsharpshooter,
I have the same issues that you describe while using my Samsung Android tablet and my Android phone.
Nokta/Makro needs to look into this.

This makes me feel even better about my latest purchase.
My new Anfibio has a 99 tone mode setting!
That means I should get twice as much information with my Anfibio than those detectors that only have a 50 tone setting.
And that should equate to twice as many good finds.
Can I get an at-a-boy!

So far I have not had any problems viewing this site on my Windows 10 laptop using IE-11.
The only time time I have problems viewing this site is when I use my Android tablet with the Chrome browser.
But I found a fix!!
I turned on Chrome's "INCOGNITO" browsing feature. Problem Solved!!!
When activated, an Icon appears at the right, top corner of the screen that can be ta

I met them at an organized relic hunt a few years ago. I had a wardrobe malfunction (I lost a button off my overall strap) and Kandi gave me a large safety pin that she happened to have with her. She saved the day for me. Congratulations on the finds!!

I have a T2 DST, an F-19 and an Omega and I don't plan on getting rid of any of them. These three detectors complement each other very well for my style of detecting in my soil. I mainly hunt relics and occasionally old coins.

It appears to be the company that builds Duck Dynasty's "Treasure Commander" series of detectors.
The pictures in these links look identical to the ones in the catalog you posted.

Lorenzo,
I have no way of knowing for sure, but my best guess would be that the kid put the 10 year old time capsule in the ground around 10 years ago. :-)

I agree that inquiring about someone's family, in the proper environment, can be considered courteous but only in a private setting. To ask someone to post personal information in an open forum for the whole world to see COULD put them or their family in danger. A PM (if offered or available) would be safer and more appropriate.

This quote was made by "Nokta Detectors" in the "Regarding the Impact post" thread.
"You need to understand that Nokta and Makro have had different distribution channels simply because they were 2 separate companies in the past and many of our customers wanted it to keep it that way after the merger."

Kevin B, I traded my G2 for the F19 a few weeks ago. I use it mainly for the quick separation in iron/nail infested sites.
I like and use the new features (iron audio, v-break) while relic hunting. The iron audio is easy on the ears.
I also have a T2 that is at Teknetics getting upgraded. I use an Ultimate 13 on my T2 when I'm scouting in the woods or fields for new sites.

Thanks for the replies.
Keith, Thanks for confirming that my F19 is working properly.
Hunting with these settings is really interesting.
volume=13
V-break=0
disc=0
no notch
All signals are high tone. It's like hunting in 1-tone on a T2 or F75.
The difference is all signals below 40 are quiet and all signals above 40 are loud and really jump out at you.

I have discovered that the iron audio volume setting is not affected by the V-break on my F19.
It seems the iron audio volume is connected to the VDI numbers and only affects VDI numbers over and under 40.
Iron audio volume always changes at 40 regardless of where the V-break is set.
EXAMPLE 1: volume=13 V-break=33 disc=0 no notch
Target numbers below 33 are low tone & low volu

After reading about all the F75 upgrade issues and inconsistencies, I was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience, or heard of upgraded T2's having similar problems.

Other than the standard differences, the F75 offers "adjustable audio pitch" on their upgraded/new models and It is not available on the new/upgraded t2 models. The other 4 upgrades (DST, FA, 4 Levels of FE Tones, and LCD Serialization) are standard on both upgraded and new models.

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, Carhartt specialized in quality railroad clothing. That button dates back to that era.
I've seen them sell on the internet, in non-dug condition, for $30-$40. Look at this link.

Keith and others on this post,
Thanks for all the good info and videos on the T3SE. I have the T2SE, G2, and the Omega. I use all three as they relate to the type of search I am conducting but the T2SE is my favorite.

The Omega manual instructs you to ground balance in AT mode and then switch to Disc mode if desired.
From the manual:
How to Ground Balance your detector: Ground Balancing procedure with the “Gnd Grab” touchpad.
1.Turn the detector on and select AT(Auto-Tune) mode.
2.Sweep searchcoil across ground to find a clear patch of ground with no metal present.
3.Rotate SENS knob to point where
