An F75 with the Equinox's added depth, the F44 ability to handle EMI (sometimes my F75 has too much power in Downtown Phoenix), and the Tesoro Cortés sum switch. No I don't want a machine to tell the difference between pulltabs and gold rings. You gotta grind, not whine to get the Au.

As soon as Dementia Joe croaks and Kamaltoe Harris (no relation) is sworn in gold will hit $5,000 and silver $500 an ounce. Brass and lead will be the most precious metals though.

Nice jugs dude. Saw your YouTube video about FM banishment. Last night was our metal detecting club meeting. One of the guys brought up Garrett purchasing some of the White's patents, the guy behind me said "Maybe they'll finally make a machine that doesn't suck." Oh snap!

Hi Tom and Fellow Forum Members,
What is depth? In Arizona we rely on having little ones...coils that is. And yes older machines are making a comeback. I recently purchased an XLT that came with the black max 5.3 coil (still looking for the 4" & 8" coils). That was the machine I first learned over 25 years ago, and have a lot to relearn. Other machines in my arsenal are: F75 with

Good riddance. Larry is a con artist and sociopath. Two of his hunts were without the permission of the landowners, he paid the caretakers. The Crow's Nest hunt was shut down by law enforcement the first day, he eventually got his money back but the participants didn't. The number of people "banned for life" is probably over 100. He made a lot of money off of these hunts, for

Garrett has certain people with large YouTube subscriberships using their machines. And a semi-scantily clad young woman on their detector packages. So they get a crossover effect. I prefer to watch a variety of channels and follow different forums to get info on how to improve on using my F44 & F75 especially with small coils and different settings. I think Fisher, Minelab, and White's

I'm not a swinger, but my main machine is an F75. I really like reading about other users settings and then trying them out on my soil.

Hey Dan,
Your trash to cash ratio looks pretty good actually. At the Salt River in AZ it's even worse. Add bobby pins into the mix from female (and maybe even some man bun types) tubers and you can dig 100+ bad targets for every good one. Keep grinding, that 18K men's bracelet is your next target.

Everybody learns differently. When I got my Spectrum XLT I constantly read and re-read my user manual. The first year I had several "aha" moments. Based on CJC's success I would buy his books on the Equinox if I owned one, which eventually I will and will.

Thanks everyone for their input. I do have DST on my F75 so will use it as my primary and my F44 with that goofy coil as my back up. Will be bringing a couple of silver coins to practice on before the hunt starts, make sure I'm really tuned in. I agree on pinpointers, don't own one. Silverfiend I like your videos. Thanks again.

Not a dumb question. I learned on an XLT which has 190 tones. After a while I could tell when a high sweet tone was silver or a fake high tone was iron. The learning curve was insane, but made the transition to my F75 easy. Eventually I will get a Nox 800 & small coil & experiment with the tones. Keep friending.

Last year I struggled mightily with EMI at our club holiday hunt.I was using my F75 & Gold Bug Pro with the large coils. The site for our planted hunt is a large dirt lot owned by a church. Last year they added a cell tower to the property and my machines sounded like movie telegraph operator. There are a lot of different machines being used by members, so some cross-talk, but that's par..

I purchased the Lost Treasure issue with that review and don't have a problem with it. Chris Gholson really knows his stuff and is a minelab dealer and user through and through. He has earned his stripes in the world of top notch nugget hunters, and I have never heard a bad word uttered about him. That he is providing us his expertise and opinion on a machine that meets the demands of the mi

I think it might be a wicked ghost town machine, I have a specific ghost town in mind here in AZ. 100+acres in size, been screened detected etc. but there is
an area absolutely carpeted in nails that I think might be hiding coins or tokens. What do you think?
Thanks,
Jeff
