Used one since 1979. Recently bought a Lesche spade, getting too old to get up and down. Much easier on the knees imho. Finally got rain in NW Georgia and easier digging all together.

28th PVV corps badge, found in early 80's at Dug Gap on Rocky Face Ridge in NW Ga. Silver star with pin intact. It is pictured in Charles Harris' Western Campaign book. Soldiers Initials are J.P.W. Found on top of a big boulder just under the leaves. Using a Fisher VLF 552.

I recently traded around and got the Blisstool and am also waiting for fall to get into my wooded relic spots, too many copperheads and yellow jackets right now. I've played around with the machine a bit and I agree with Steve that it is very stable and super deep. Had no problem ground balancing in my yard. I've heard a couple of folks say it is like a 1266x, that is very far from true

Very nice finds Kevin. I always use motion all metal when hunting in woods or fields, boost process, 0 theshold, 0 tone pitch, 90 or less sens depending on ground mineralization. If I get into a "carpet of nails" I may switch to disc mode, 7 disc, 2 tone, 80 sens, bp....seems to work pretty well for me anyway. The 5" DD is the way to go if you know the spot is full of trash and n

I am very interested in the Blisstool. May have to do a little "horse trading" before cool weather this year. Got a couple of spots in Rocky Face and Resaca where this machine could realy produce the relics.

This is in southeast Ga. There is another prison camp, smaller, just outside of Blackshear, Ga. I always wanted to hunt the site when I lived in the area for a while but never did get the chance to. Now I'm 350 miles away, again.

Sorry, I meant MOTION all metal........ooops!!!! I've checked deeper signals in disc and get a positive response, but some may not stop me in my tracks. Been digging minie balls @ 10+ inches, but most good machines will do that.

I relic hunt in NW Georgia and run my F75 LTD in all metal. Mineralization is moderate to bad in this area and can change every 10 yards at some of my spots. My settings are BP, static all metal, usually 90 sens. Compared to my Explorer SE and Safari the LTD is not very noisey at all (by the way, I think the Safari is a better relic hunter than the Explorer, just my opinion.) I've used mostl

Bart, I just tried motion all metal with bp selected and compared it to motion all metal with de selected (air test with .69 musket ball). Motion all metal with bp gave a better and stronger signal with a couple of more inches "air depth". That leads me to think that the process selected is active in all metal......of course I could be imagining this as I am new to the F75 LTD.
