This Open Forum is now DISABLE to new posts due to the "Phorum" Forum Software used for this forum being generally obsolete and basically no longer supported. Thanks to TallTom(part 1 on pg 54) and everyone else contributing to this thread....very interesting/informative. I'm interested.....still not sure about water integrity...waterproof headphones,connectors,etc... Would be nice to buy one already setup for water hunting...hint...hint!!!

I use the 920 ix rugged pkg w/carbon fiber handle and 5/8 holes....don't worry 'bout the smalls. I wanted lightweight and fast-draining...I'm gettin' older. Best scoop I've ever owned. Like most things, there are tradeoffs b/w different scoops/designs/hole size/weight/handles...etc...but, stainless cuts better - sand/mud doesn't stick as easily as it does to alumi

I've found lotsa good stuff with mine....I like it! It is deep and gets good coverage with the 12"....Anderson has a hipmount kit that is excellent and I also use the plugger straight shaft....agree that it is under-rated....gl and hh!!

Cannot hunt on designated National Seashore lands, but......there are beaches available to hunt around the Corpus Christi area and the South Padre area.......DO NOT hunt on NS property....they ain't playin'......gl and hh!!!
