Hey coin spader, I also heard about this coil when the FM still had a White's forum. A guy by the name Ronk raved about it and Monte was the one who sold him the Classic lll SL with the Ferret coil. A search of that forum should turn up some tips and data on this excellent coil.
I don't have much to say about it other than to say that the Classic series like to have a very slight pos

I phoned the owner of Detknix several years ago, asked about country of the manufacturer. He hemmed and hawed around the question, saying it was made in Asia...,then I asked about being a distributer , he then fessed up that it indeed was made in China.
I thanked him for being honest about it (finally) and told him ...not interested in any ChiCom made crap.

Pantera (circa 1990) almost 30 years old and very rare. This is Tesoros' first 2 tone,, ED-120 notch discriminator. It has a 3 way notch with adjustable tone break and 10 turn adjustable Ground Balance to handle any ground, just a lovely machine....

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please Help Steve's daughter, lay you healing hand upon her soul. Help her to find her way back to you and be forgiven of all sins and profess that YOU, Jesus Christ are the true SON OF GOD and be Baptized in your healing blood.
We pray to your name Jesus Christ the true son of God
AMEN

I don't see a reason for this thread, some like the analog Tesoro brand and some don't....I happen to like them for certain uses. They all need a good ground Balance and is harder to do on a Cibola since it is factory set with internal trimmers. That is why every Tesoro that I own has a manual GB adjustment on the outside of the control box. like the out of production Bandido and Panter

Even if I had a glimmer of a chance to try out the NOX, I would not take up the offer of a free one. This is because of the pontificating, pompous, and elite writings of calabash, Dr. Tones, TNSS and others. I think I could kick ass on anyone of them with my lowly Tesoro Outlaw.
