You had me there for a minute but I was thinking seems too nice, but it was a good story and pulled you in.
But if I were ever in that kind of situation where I might put the trust out there I would take a Video I.U.O from the guy and photo his I.D.

No dedicated all metal mode. Looks like they are seperating it from the gold machines. If it had a all metal mode my guess is it would be too versitile and hurt GB And G2 sales.
I do not need a notch so all they added that is useful is the Iron audio feature and maybe the enhanced tone break.
It is interesting though.

Nice finds,
To me that spur instantly told a story of a soldier going down on a horse and the horse landing on it and him. But I saw it from the horses point of view as he took the bullets and the man slid out from under and crawled away leaving his boot and spur. HA HA Just one of thousands of possibilities thats what I love about the relics Im starting to get into it more and more.

Nice hunt Paul,
Looks like a good day I really like the horse anchor. nice fire place ornament just the way they are. Do you know what the item is between the horse shoes that is cross shaped? I found one that is very similar but made of brass. I was thinking some kind of heavy duty latch But ????
Take care!

Its hear in the US you are supposed to have a national treasure hunters license to dig anything older than 50 years.
The only time I was ever approached by a ranger here in Tahoe (THIS last FALL)he started in on the ARPA thing He was very nice to my face but as I was driving away I looked back and he was literally running around in the sage brush feild trying to find anything I had done wrong.

Some videos leave too much too speculation. In this one I would like to have seen the ground tested before hand. Ground balance? And in every video I have seen so far of the ATX and small gold it looks like the coil is swept unevenly they are diving at the ground to get it to hit. Could that not alone trigure a signal?

Super dry here in Tahoe as well, if we dont have a big finish its going to be a really low summer.
Positive note, Low water more bedrock exposed for nugget hunting and more beach op

And I was just about going to jump on a ATX. I just waiting to hear reports on the 8 inch coil. If minelab does hit with something I hope the coil selection stays compatable with the SD Gp Series as well as some water proof additions. That would be killer.

Steve,
Thank you for all your effort in testing and writing up the new Atx. I had been waiting to see what your final verdict would be. As I feel your a straight shooter and hardened prospector.
Do you feel it does better on small gold or EMI than the TDI ?.
Small world!!
Funny I recently was given permisssion to hunt a claim in a great area of the North Fork lots of bedrock. And its also

To me it means the legislative powers granted (KEY WORD)can be revoked. At which time our states should become soverin nations. But ??????????
Put all you money in gold or silver and get it out of the country while you still can.
How is that for extreme? LOL

Nice digs Steve,
And great experiance thanks for sharing.Being a G2 Gb user as well I thihk what you say when you started doing the tiny little sweeps in a tight concentrated area is huge. I kinda use the same stratagy for weeding through the foil and tabs watching every VDI hunting jewelry. For me at least I feel the 5x10 does better at slower sweep speeds than the 11 and 5 coil and does a bet

Its nice and peaceful non threatning and may portray a better image to people in the parks then say Raptor. Also a break from their use of animals and insects.

You have a huge soul and reach out in so many ways not just with detecting but the underlying principles between the lines of your posts that show the love your father had for you and the values he and you hold close to your hearts.
He is not really gone!!!!

This is a great place to ask that question as there are so many specialized hunters aboard that you will get a wide aspect of opinions.
I agree with Deathray yes it is a gold machine first but it lends itself well for other uses once you get to know it. Multi purpose, I dig very few caps with it any more and when I do its because I was lazy and didnt sweep both ways or its a corona for some rea

1853 one us one dollar coin. The back had six big gouges in it where they had checked to see if it was real.
The front was almost perfect, It was at about 4 inches down and hit at a bouncy 53 to 56 on my G2. Found in the San Fran area>

Thanks for the reply Keith,
Boy I bet your right a DD coil on that baby would really take it to another level!
So the lobo basically does have track lock and in three positions, alk, blk sand, and normal.
I would venture to say some of the internal tweaks you have been making are in that arena dialing in the disc base balance for your specific area!
The years use with a unit as well as k
